Andrew Wren is a Chartered Structural Engineer and the primary director of Sunshine Skyway Structures Ltd, a civil and structural engineering consultancy incorporated in June 2017. The practice operates from Fellbarrow in Asby, near Workington in west Cumbria, and works with clients throughout the North of England and South Scotland.
Before founding the practice, Andrew spent over four years as Operations Manager at Stobbarts Ltd and previously held an Associate role at Capita. That combined background — running site operations and leading design teams — underpins the way we work today: clear drawings, realistic programmes, and calculations that suit the way things actually get built.
We take on projects at every scale, from a single extension calculation for a homeowner or architect through to fully framed commercial and agricultural buildings. Whatever the scale, the same engineer is involved from first sketch to construction-issue drawings.
